Heather Smith Music Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting independent Christian music ministry through your purchase at HeatherSmithMusic.com. We want you to be completely satisfied with your CDs, apparel, and other merchandise. Below is our clear, straightforward policy rooted in fairness and good stewardship.

Eligibility for Returns & Refunds
- You may return most new, unopened, and unused items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange.
- Items must be in the same condition as received, with all original packaging, inserts, shrink-wrap (for CDs), and tags (for apparel) intact.
- Sale items, clearance merchandise, and personalized/custom items are **final sale** and not eligible for return unless damaged or defective.

Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and copyright reasons, the following items cannot be returned once opened or used:
- Opened CDs, vinyl, or any audio media
- Digital downloads or streaming access codes
- Undergarments, earrings, or any intimate apparel
- Items marked “All Sales Final” at the time of purchase

Defective or Damaged Items
If your CD skips, is cracked, or your merchandise arrives damaged or misprinted, please contact us within **14 days** of delivery. We will gladly replace the item at no cost to you or issue a full refund—including original shipping charges. You may be asked to provide a photo of the defect.

How to Return an Item
1. Email us at sales@heathersmithmusic.com with your order number and reason for return.
2. We will reply within 1–2 business days with return instructions and a printable return label (when applicable).
3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging.
4. Ship the package back to the return address we provide.
5. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days.

Refund Method
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable (except in cases of defective/damaged items or our error).
- If you paid with a gift card or store credit, the refund will be issued as store credit.

Shipping Costs for Returns
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective, damaged, or sent in error by us.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service—we cannot be responsible for lost return packages.

Exchanges
If you need a different size or color, we’re happy to exchange whenever possible. Simply follow the return process above and place a new order (or let us know and we’ll set up the exchange when we receive the original item).
